Another Quick and Easy Snack for the Kids

 

We were blessed about a  month  ago to be given a case of Dannon Crush Cups.  I froze them as they were close to the  "best if used by date".  

The boys loved them straight out of the freezer and I have to say, both Aaron and I enjoyed them too!

Frozen Mott's Applesauce

A friend gave us a case of  Mott's Healthy Applesauce .  We were really grateful for this gift of food though I wasn't sure how I was going to store a whole case of it in our small pantry. I decided to freeze them.

Well, Lil' Pea absolutely LOVES applesauce so I took some out of the freezer to defrost and when I turned around from washing the dishes, there he was eating the frozen pomegranate applesauce with a huge grin on his face.   He hasn't had it any other way since and swears it tastes  as good as ice cream!
