My Thoughts 

Only the Beautiful by Susan Meissner is a heart rending story of family, loss, love, war and so much more! It is set around WW2 - 1938 California and 1947 Austria.  The plot involves the war, the eugenics programs that Hitler commissioned as well as the eugenics programs that were evolving in the US about the same time.   

It also highlighted those brave soldiers and volunteers (both women and men) who risked their own lives to help save those in need. Their bravery and sacrifice is not forgotten!  

I cried my way through this book and found it to be one of the BEST books I have read this year. I highly recommend Only the Beautiful by Susan Meissner!
